1. Oil-Based Cleanser

Koreans believe in double cleansing, which means, they cleanse their skin twice to get rid of the makeup, oil, and dirt. The first step is to use an oil-based cleanser which breakdowns the heaviest of makeup. It emulsifies when it comes into contact with water and hence clears your skin.

2. Foam-Based Cleanser

3. Toner

4. Korean Skin Care: Essence

Essences are water-based concentrates that you apply after the toner. Koreans believe strongly in layering their skincare products starting from the one that is least consistent, followed by the heavy moisturizers. 5. Emulsion

The next step after applying the essence is using an emulsion. Emulsions are slightly thicker than the essences and have specialized ingredients that target your skin concerns.
